Commr. & Secy assures to declare results by Nov 10

Nagaland Rashtriya Madhyamik Shiksha Abhiyan (RMSA)written exam 2014 qualified candidates forum, which launched indefinite agitation Tuesday here against non-fulfilment of assurances by the RMSA, has decided to call off the stir.
According to forum convenor Kakika Z Sumi and general secretary Ruvuotuonuo Ruth, the commissioner & secretary Education, F.P. Solo has assured that once the education minister and chief secretary returned back to station things would be worked out within two weeks i.e. by November 10 and the result along with appointment orders would be given out.
The forum said since the assurance was given by the commissioner and secretary with full conviction, they decided to call off the agitation.
Forum said RMSA mission director Thejao Vihienuo also informed that result of viva-voce was ready and the same has been sent to the secretariat for the approval of the Education minister, chief secretary and commissioner secretary of Education. 
Mission director also reportedly maintained that since Education minister and chief secretary were out of station the approval was kept pending, adding that it was not in the hands of the RMSA to declare the result.
Meanwhile, extending full support to the forum, Naga Students’ Federation (NSF) education secretary Imtiyapang addressed the gathering and extended full support of NSF towards the issue. He said NSF would also pressurize the government to complete the whole process within the assured time.
SDO Civil Kohima Kethosituo Sekhose, who was present at the protest site, clarified to the candidates regarding delaying in declaring the results.
Around 500 candidates participated in the protest that was staged protest at the RMSA office premise. Protestors blocking the road towards commissioner’s office led to halting of traffic for some time. 
Agitators shouted slogan demanding justice and displayed placards some of which read “we want immediate action, don’t ruin Nagas future generation, we are fed up with your blame games”.
Out of 2317 candidates who appeared viva voice for 951 posts of secondary teachers under RMSA 294 were B.Ed degree holders.
