Kyong Hoho office bearers and the executive council (EC) have resolved to resign en-masse of our own accord with immediate effect (i.e., October 14, 2015) in order to “uphold the integrity and unity of the Lotha/Naga community.”
In a press release, Kyong Hoho publicity & information secretary, Phyobemo Murry said the resolution was taken after thorough deliberations at an executive council meeting convened by Kyong Hoho on October 14, 2015 at Wokha town. At the meeting, the members deliberated at length on the matter relating to “the existence of two (2) parallel tribal bodies in Lotha community and seriously viewed the situation which is not conducive to the present context and juncture.” Meanwhile, Kyong Hoho has extended heartfelt gratitude to all village units, various organizations, and all the well-wishers for extending their unflinching support and cooperation to the Hoho throughout their entire tenure.
