NSCN/GPRN (K) ‘advise’ Kehoi group

NSCN/GPRN (K) has advised ‘Kehoi campers’ and state government to clear the confusion over the current cease fire signed between GoI and NSCN (K) on April 27, 2001.
NSCN/GPRN (K) in a press release stated the content of the cease fire which read as “Discussion were held at Delhi on April 9 and 10, 2001 between GOI and NSCN.
In perusal of these discussions held between GOI’s representatives and led by Dr. P.D Shenoy special secretary MHA, North East in-charge and representatives of NSCN/GPRN (Khaplang) led by Kukhalu Mulatono agreed to have a bi-literal cease fire between GOI and NSCN (K) for one (1) year, w.e.f April 27,2001”.
NSCN/GPRN (K) added that the word “confusion” used by the state government clearly indicated “their anti anti-Naga and anti-biliteral cease fire agreement between NSCN and GoI”.
The press release further stated there was no other bi-literal cease fire than the ceasefire between NSCN (K) and GoI and the other being with (IM) faction of NSCN.
NSCN/GPRN (K) questioned that if the state government and Kehoi campers were confused about the current ceasefire, then why not produce that agreement before the Naga and international communities.
“Singson was a young boy of 2001 in Naga Politics who have no knowledge about GoI and NSCN cease fire. Our young people are liable to commit usual mistakes, which we should forgive”, stated the MIP.
The release also said that Kehoi campers would never attain cease fire with GoI because they were only a “month old” organization and have not opposed India even on equal footing of “one man goonda (like verrapan)”, adding as to how they can claim to be a National organization when there was no vision and political agenda for the Nagas.
