
A new fuel station under the name M/s MK Assertion Station was inaugurated on Saturday at Tsiepema, Medziphema along NH-29 by Nagaland State Mineral Development Corporation (NSMDC) chairman Neipherzo Keditsu, MLA.
Speaking as the chief guest at the inaugural programme, Neipherzo Keditsu appreciated the initiative taken up by Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited (BPCL) and expressed hope that BPCL would provide quality service to commuters. He said fuel station was the long felt need of the people of the area, adding that the opening of the station was beginning of development of the area. Neipherzo maintained that village leaders running any institution or service for the welfare of the public should be appreciated.
Earlier, the chief guest cut the ribbon and unveiled the stone of the station while invocation was said by Baptist Church ‘A’ Medziphema town Pastor Nilekho Savino. Proprietor of the station Megozelhou Kuotsu proposed vote of thanks. Village council members, elders, Goanburas and members of civil society organizations attended the opening programme.
