Nagaland Voluntary Consumers’ Organisation (NVCO) in a representation, urged upon prime minister of India not to allow the involvement of middleman/private party/individual/dalali in the process of approving the projects/DPR for infrastructural development in several departments. 
NVCO team led by its president, Kezhokhoto Savi submitted the representation on September 7 at PMO office South Block, New Delhi. 
NVCO said main object of approving DPR/projects was to develop the country especially in the area of infrastructures such as roads, bridges, building, agriculture and human development, education, healthcare sector, etc. 
However, NVCO said the during the process of approving the projects/DPR many corrupt practices took place where the concerned state departments has to spent huge amount of cash, bribing the officials to get the work done.
NVCO therefore, suggested for judicious utilization of public funds in order to develop Nagaland.
