Hispop, an event for the Dimapurian Youths

A three-day Christian music event with the theme ‘Jesus Generation-An Event of Celebrating Life with a Purpose’ has been organized by a group of church leaders working in various ministries in Nagaland.
The three day event scheduled to be held at Dimapur District Sports Complex (DDSC) from December 8 to 10 will feature one of the most prominent Christian entertainment company in South East Asia – Hispop.
This was announced by the organizers during a press conference at hotel Lake Shilloi, Dimapur, Saturday afternoon.
The organizers included Bethesda Ministry, Sinai Ministry, The Watchman, Kingdom Culture Project, Asia Soul Winners, Logos College, New Life Bible College, Friends Missionary Prayer Band and El-elyon Outreach Ministry in collaboration with Nagaland Printing Solution.
The word Hispop is a derivation from the words His-meaning Christ and Pop-popular Christian music and culture.
Hispop holds regular concerts, creates and collaborates in numerous cultural projects such as developing a variety of creative concepts, management, broadcasting and media business and promotion of new artistes.
The event besides showcasing music and dances from Hispop will also see praise and worship performance by local worship team ‘The Pursuit’.
Concert will start at 4 p.m. every evening and midway through the concert Sam W Park, pastor of Promise Ministries International will share brief sermons.
Workshops on Vocal, B-Boy dance, Hiphop dance, worship dance and cover dances will be conducted by the Hispop team on December 9 and 10 mornings.
Apart from music and dance, the three day event at DDSC will also have ethnic food and gospel book stalls.
The organizers informed that the event will be a healthy one for families as young and old alike can have quality time together watching and partaking in the event.
Entry to the event will be free and open to everyone and therefore the organizers have invited all to come and witness the mega Christian music event.
