Satoi Range Students’ Union (SRCU) paid visit to Government High School (GHS) Satoi on August 20 and held combined meeting with teachers and senior students to discuss various issues and problems related to education and school administration.
A press release by SRSU general secretary Nikato T. Ayemi stated that president Lika S. Awomi had urged the teachers to be sincere towards nurturing the students to meet global challenges with strong commitment. It also appealed the staff to avoid “buck passing in their duties and responsibilities.”
It further informed that senior students had highlighted their grievances pertaining to the lack of headmaster in the school, causing impediments in the smooth administrative functioning of the school.
The union has also appealed competent agencies for the urgent requirement of a language teacher and expressed hope that it would be redressed at the earliest.
