Pfutsero government college bids farewell to Dr. Watijungshi Jamir

Farewell programme was held at Pfutsero Government College for the outgoing principal, Dr. Watijungshi Jamir on Tuesday attended by public organisations, government departments, students, staff and well wishers. Convenor of mass media centre, Neiko Ritse in a press release stated that the outgoing principal in his speech expressed mixed feelings on his departure. Dr. Jamir challenged the students and staff “to work diligently in this competitive” world and “encouraged the students to bring laurels” to the college and community. He also exhorted the teaching staff to “work for the welfare of the college and help the community” towards capacity building. Earlier in the programme, president of the College’s Teachers Association gave the welcome address, followed by speeches from vice principal T. L. Singsit, vice president PGCSU Besuta, advisor EGF & EU Mrs Vetanule, and HoD Pol. Sc Medozu Mero.
