Deployment of NAP at Delhi is all set to begin by the end of this month and complete the process in fifteen to twenty days.
Altogether nine companies of NAP consisting of 4 companies from 3rd NAP, 3 companies from 2nd NAP and 2 companies from 4th NAP are all set to start their movement by August 29 next to replace 9 companies of NAP who had completed three years period of deployment at Delhi.
The move for replacement was delayed due to non availability of train bogies to transport the state force, DGP K Kire told Nagaland Post. The whole process for movement of the state force to and from Delhi is likely to take at least fifteen days as they have to move in batch wise, Kire said. Meanwhile, it was also learnt that chief minister had released eight personnel from 3rd NAP following PHQ request to all responsible to release 3rd NAP personnel attached with them as bodyguards.
