NCP Nagaland has urged upon its national party leaders to urge upon government of India for an early solution to the Naga political problem.
In a press release NCP Nagaland vice president, Er. T.L. Semdok and general secretary (adm) Miathou Krose informed that the state unit who attended the 6th National Convention of the NCP at Patna from June 9-10, made this appeal stating that it was in the interest of Nagaland and also the neighboring states and the country as a whole.
The NCP team led by Er. T.L. Semdok includes Miathou Krose and Vanthungo. Apart from discussing organizational matters, the team also apprised the central leaders of present political scenario in Nagaland.
Meanwhile, NCP chief Sharad Pawar was unanimously re-elected as the national president by the working committee during the convention. In his address, Pawar said that NCP would play the role of a constructive opposition in the interest of the country. Pawar took a dig at communal and discriminatory approach of governance in the country.
