Zeliangrong Baudi Nagaland, has expressed dismay on the random issuing of land allotment forms “under the very nose” of the district administration and its incompetence in bringing the culprits to book.
According to a press release, the apex tribal body regretted that no official action or records in “black and white” was taken by the district administration even after “admitting knowledge of the scandal”.
“A letter to this effect will reportedly be submitted for deliberation at the DP&DB Meeting, to be held Tuesday at the DC’s Conference Hall under the Chairmanship of T.R Zeliang, Chairman DP&DB Peren”, added ZBN.
On the PDEB issue, the apex body stated that no organisation by such nomenclature existed in the district, and unauthorised collection of money from common people by some few individuals for their self-vested interest was highly condemnable and “will never be tolerated”.
