Reacting to a statement by Kiumukam Yimchunger-led NNC (NA), published May 11, the NNC (NA) led by Temjenyanger and Hozheto Chophi clarified that the “language used by Khumukam is fictitious”, which claimed Shashi Aier Kilonser Mineral as PGN. In a press release, NNC (NA) MIP stated that PGN was formed but merged with NNC (NA) on December 29, 2014 for the larger interest of Nagas. NNC (NA) stated that merging signified that Nagas should remain under one umbrella.
Alleging that “bogus supporter of Kiumukam” was misleading the Nagas with “concocted language” to “spoil the true NNC (NA), MIP stated that it should be understood by Nagas that Kiumukam “was expelled by the 13th tribes then after he was never a part of NNC N/A.”
Stating that it was issuing the statement to let people know who was upholding the NNC N/A, MIP said the group cannot be claimed by an individual as it belonged to the Nagas and not an individual property. The release stated that no MIP or kilonser can exist in the government “as long as there is no Ato Kilonser, adding that statement by Kiumukam Yimchunger-led NNC (NA) hence stood null and void. Meanwhile, NNC (NA) led by Temjenyanger and Hozheto stated that it “nullify the existing Kiumukam group.”
