Chief Manager of Lead District Manager (LDM) SBI, Mon district, RS Mour, along with the Lead Office Assistant, Khriekholi Chadi, and the District Programme Co-coordinator DMMU, DRDA Mon, Rajusalie Lhaousa, had visited Tobu village and conducted a financial literacy camp.
Expressing hardship faced by the people, KU unit president, SB Poangba highlighted that every developmental activity in the village was hindered due to lack of banking facilities in the area. He requested the management to open the bank at the earliest.
Besides the officials from banking sector, NGO’s also surveyed and inspected the feasibility of the site for setting up SBI Branch at Tobu which was the urgent need of the people.
Meanwhile, Tobu unit of the Konyak Union has expressed gratitude to the Chief Manager, Lead District Manager (LDM) SBI, Mon district, RS Mour, Lead Office Assistant, Khriekholi Chadi, and the District Programme Co-coordinator DMMU, DRDA Mon, Rajusalie Lhaousa, for the official visit to Tobu village and conducting the first ever financial literacy camp. It said public were greatly benefitted by the financial literacy camp.
