A one-day seminar on art of counseling and monitoring was conducted by Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC), Modern College, on April 24 with SCERT associate professor Dr. Zavise Rume as the resource person.
Addressing the gathering, Dr. Zavise Rume, gave a presentation on the conceptual idea of counseling and mentoring and its importance in educational institutions.
He discussed points on techniques and skills of counseling and mentoring, qualities of a counselor and professional ethics code of conduct.
The programme followed with interaction session where queries and doubts were clarified.
