North East Zonal Cultural Centre (NEZCC) in association with the Centre for Cultural Resources and Training (CCRT), New Delhi conducted a 5-day Workshop on “Creative Activities” for the School Students August 5-9 at the NEZCC Complex, Dimapur.
Altogether 370 school students from various schools in Dimapur attended the workshop. At the workshop, students learned various creative arts such as folk dances, patriotic songs in different indian languages and various crafts including terracotta.
The participants in the closing function expressed happiness and gratitude to the organizers for giving them such an exposure.
The programme is part of the collaborative effort of NEZCC and other cultural organizations under the Ministry of Culture to promote and disseminate traditional cultural knowledge amongst the students’ community.
