Silver jubilee celebration of Amahator town was held at Public ground Amahator on August 16.
T. Nchumbemo Odyuo, additional deputy commissioner, Seyochung who spoke at the programme congratulated the public of Amahator for attaining 25 years of township. He advised the public to participate more in order to shape the town in a proper way.
He said, “Government was deaf and dump, if we don’t ask, the government will not come and give our needs” and therefore he asked Amahator public to be more active in molding the town.
He also said that the town should be free from “land accusation” if they want the town to grow into a modernized one.
He however asked the public to have unity among themselves. Others who spoke at the programme included Muzing Hd.GB Purrer and Seili Hd.GB Amahator village.
Nukutulu S. Venuh EAC Amahator pronounced the vote of thanks. Naga dance exhibition by VG Amahator village was the highlight of the day.
