Ebola training held in Zunheboto

One day Ebola training was held at the chamber of CMO Office Zunheboto with chief medical officer Dr.G.Hokishe Sema as the resource person. In the session, overview of Ebola virus disease, case definition, clinical features and laboratory diagnosis were discussed by Dr. Hokishe.
Emphasizing on the early surveillance of action purpose of contact tracing and element of contact tracing he elaborated the IDSP surveillance to be alert for contact tracing.
Dr. Hokishe also encouraged the gathering for community engagement as it is the key to successfully contain outbreak. Use of personal protection equipments was also demonstrated. The training was attended by DPO (RCH & UIP), SMOs, MO I/Cs, DPM and DM (IDSP).
