NIC Dimapur branch office upgraded to divisional office

National Insurance Co Limited (NIC) Dimapur office has been upgraded from its branch office to a divisional level Friday at its office, Dhobhinala police point here.
NIC general manager and director head office Kolkata KP Brahma was the chief guest and deputy general manager HO Kolkatta Amiya Kumar was guest of honour.
Speaking on the occasion, Brahma said that the company was one of the oldest, establishd in the year 1906, adding that there was a lot of responsibilities to be taken be taken up.
He encouraged the company officials to extend better service to the public with better vision by being honest, disciplined and to give extra and to gain extra out of it.
Earlier, at the programme chaired by AO, Dimapur Elson SB Guite, welcome address was delivered by senior branch officer, Dimapur divisional office ZH Sema. He gave a brief report on the foundation of the company and the transformation of the office.
Meanwhile, Amiya Kumar gave keynote address while short speeches were delivered by chief manager HO Kolkatta A Chattopadhya, CRM, GRO Guwahati JP Das, DM JDO Guwahati A Raykumar, D,.JDO,Jorhat ABhattacharjee and ANPSA president. The programme was followed by unveiling of the plaque.
