Chief Medical Office (CMO) Peren district under the chairmanship of deputy CMO, Peren Dr. Tiala Longkumer held its district review meeting-cum-advent Christmas on December 5 at IDSP conference hall, CMO Peren. The meeting was attended by medical superintendent, district programme officers, medical officers and health workers.
In the programme, Dr. Tiala welcomed and expressed warm Christmas greetings to all the members and asserted on the sincerity and punctuality at work and proper reporting. She also highlighted the names of the health units who are not performing and pointed out the areas where there was need for improvement.
CMO Dr. Ngangshimeren urged everyone to reiterate and reflect on the service that has been rendered and pointed out that duties and functions of every individual were important. He also said that there is gap in reporting and poor performance because of failure to be in place of posting and called upon all categories of staff to cooperate and learn from each other.
DPO RCH/UIP Dr. Khrielasanuo stressed on the upcoming IPPI which will be held from January 18-20, 2015 and February 22-24, 2015. The next review meeting was fixed on January 7, 2015. A short advent Christmas programme was held wherein DPO RCH/UIP Dr. Khrielasanuo, chaired the program; the invocation prayer was said by MO Azailong PHC Dr. Imchatoshi.
Medical Superintendent Dr. Atsungla exhorted the gathering and short speech was given by CMO. A special number was given by the CMO staff Peren. The program concluded with mass prayer followed by light refreshment.
