NSCN (I-M) expresses shock over killing of Wungkhai

NSCN (I-M) has expressed shock over the “brutal murder” of Y. Wungkhai of Khamasom Village (WTR) committed by “unknown criminal” at his residence in Ukhrul.
In a press release, NSCN (I-M) MIP said late Wungkhai was the former CAO of WTR and had served in various other capacities. Presently, he was an elected Tatar.
NSCN (I-M) said in this difficult time of pain and sorrows, the group prayed to the Almighty God that His abundance love and care would be bestowed upon the bereaved family.
NSCN (I-M) also said that the group was determined that whosoever, wherever the culprits might be and no matter how long it would take to “unearth the culprits”, the group would “hunt down” so as to deliver justice to the “deceased comrade.”
