Underscoring the need for lively deliberation for the developmental process of the district, deputy commissioner Dimapur, Hushili Sema urged the board members for active participation and to contribute their thoughts.
Hushili who is also the vice-chairperson of DPDB was addressing the board members at the monthly meeting of district planning & development board for the month of September at the DC’s conference hall on September 12.
DC welcomed the director of food & civil supply Sedevikho Khro and all the board members in the meeting.
The department of irrigation & flood control highlighted the development activities of the department in the district.
According to an official bulletin, the board also reviewed the last meeting minutes, discussed some agendas such as-allotment of present deputy commissioner office building for office of home guards district officer Dimapur and was recommended to department in-charge for consideration.
The board recommended for up-gradation of GPS School Tokishe GMS under Niuland sub-division. Up-gradation of GPS Phushito, Dimapur, to GMS and creation of EAC Post at east Purana bazaar would be deliberated in the next meeting.
Further, department of horticulture and sericulture would be highlighting departmental development activities of the district in the next meeting.
