The 3rd quarterly combined service of Kohima Baptist youth fellowship was held at Nepali Baptist church Kohima with Rev. Pelhousehu Belho pastor Khedi Baptist church Kohima village as the speaker on Saturday evening.
Belho shared the word of God based from Luke 15:11-25 about the parable of the lost son. Narrating the story of the prodigal son, he said the son was given the robe, ring and pair of sandals when returned to his father’s house which signified righteousness, authority and relationship respectively.
Rev. Belho encouraged the young people to posses holiness, modesty, decency, inner beauty through which the real beauty of Jesus can be seen in them.
He also asked the youth to ponder upon the love of God which was given generously and freely to everyone who believes in Him.
Earlier, praise and worship was led by Nepali youth, pastor Nepali Baptist church invoked God’s blessings, the service was led by Ramdeu Nsa, youth director, Zeme Baptist church, special songs by Naya Jeevan Baptist church and Kohima Baptist Khrüsarü-u krotho, special presentation with the theme “Set me free” by Nepali Baptist church, scripture reading by Pairson, youth director, Poumai Baptist church Kohima. The ushers were from Konyak Baptist church Kohima.
