IBMs, KPC, YouthNet call on CM

Interim body members (IBMd) paid a courtesy call to the state chief minister T.R. Zeliang at his Official Residence, Kohima Tuesday.
At the meeting, the oldest member in the team Lothi Rengma said the main purpose of the visit was to “pray and bless” the new chief minister of Nagaland.
During the meeting, the interim body members briefed the chief minister on important issues such as to protect the rights of the Nagas referring to article 371(A) and also to recognize and uphold the customary laws of the Nagas.
The team members included T.Kikon, convenor and Ex IBM, Tokheho Sema, Ex IBM and Lothi Rengma Ex IBM. 
According to press release issued by CMO Media Cell, the YouthNet team comprising of MBAs, corporate trainers, social workers and experts in various domains also called on the chief minister at his residential office Tuesday.
At the meeting, Hekani Jhakalu highlighted the chief minister about the activities and programmes of YouthNet. Chief minister wished the YouthNet team well in all their activities and said they were in the right track and doing commendable job.
Meanwhile, members of the Kohima Press Club (KPC) called on chief minister T.R. Zeliang at the chief minister’s office, Kohima Tuesday. 
In a press release, KPC general secretary Alice Yhoshü said “this was the first time a chief minister of the state granted official audience to members of KPC since the inception of the club in 2001.”
Interacting with the chief minister, KPC members apprised him of the functions of the club and also shared grievances faced by press fraternity in Kohima.
On the occasion, KPC submitted a general memorandum to the chief minister for “maintenance of a good rapport between the press and the state government and its various establishments.”
Zeliang has reportedly assured to look into the issues raised by the club.
KPC team included president Xavier Rutsa, advisor Kopelo Krome, general secretary Alice Yhoshü, joint secretary Solomon Sha, treasurer Rüülhoutuonuo Theünuo and senior members Oken Jeet Sandham and Kuzhovesa Soho.
