SKK: All Sumi students’ union (SKK) has mourned the demise of its former social & cultural secretary, SKK late Richard Shikhu, who passed away July 22. In a condolence message, the union said they have lost an honest leader who contributed his everything for the welfare of the society.
Further, SKK said they would remember him for his every remarkable contribution towards the union. It also conveyed condolences to the bereaved family and prayed for the departed soul to rest in peace.
KSUD: Khiamniungan students’ union, Dimapur (KSUD) has expressed grief at the demise of demise of late Naik Mongchon P, son of Pashem of Aniangan village, Tuensang, posted at Akhnoor, Jammu and Kashmir. On July 22, late Naik Mongchon P of 3rd Naga Regiment was killed while eliminating an infiltration bid in Pallanwala sector of Akhnoor.
In a condolence message, the union expressed pain at losing a brave hero of the nation. It also conveyed condolences to bereaved family members prayed for the departed soul to rest in peace.
CKS: Chang Khulie Setshang (CKS), Chang Tribal Council, has expressed grief at the demise of former Yimchuger tribal council president late Caming, who passed away July 15. In a condolence message, CKS said the demise of late Caming was a loss for the Yimchuger community in particular and for eastern people of Tuensang in general. Further, CKS conveyed condolences to the bereaved family and prayed for the departed soul to rest in peace.
NCWA: Nagaland Catholic Women Association (NCWA) has mourned the demise of late. Anna Thoppil, mother of Rev. Dr. James Thoppil, Bishop of Nagaland, who passed away July 19 at her home town in Kerela. In a condolence message, NCWA described late Anna as a loving mother, who was devoted and faithful and gave everything to the church and society as a whole. The association conveyed condolences to the bereaved family members and prayed for the departed soul to rest in peace.
KUDD: Khezhakeno Union Dimapur District (KUDD) has mourned the demise of its advisor, Zonyi Ritse, who passed away July 13 at his residence in Sodzulhou village, Dimapur.
In a condolence, KUDD described late Zonyi as a faithful and selfless advisor of the union who showed vigour and zeal for the people of Khezhakeno people in Dimapur. It further conveyed condolences to the bereaved family members and prayed for the eternal rest of the departed soul.
The union has also condoled the demise Avino Koza, wife of Kepfelhou Koza and advisor to the union, who died July 9. KUDD further conveyed condolences to the bereaved family members and prayed for the eternal rest of the departed soul.
ANCSU: All Nagaland College Students’ Union (ANCSU) has mourned the demise of its former social and cultural secretary, Richard Shikhu, on July 22. ANCSU in a press release issued by its general secretary, Katho P Awomi, stated that late Richard was a very dedicated and sincere leader.
