CVBCYM organizes sanitation drive

Chozuba Village Baptist Church Youth Ministry (CVBCYM) under the banner, “Let’s join our hands in cleaning our village today” organized a sanitation drive within the village jurisdiction on May 3 where hundreds of youth participated. Sanitation Committee convenor Vesavo Shijoh and local pastor stressed on the necessity of living in a healthy and hygienic environment which ensures a better living. They asserted that keeping the environment healthy was the responsibility of each individual.  Later, the volunteers cleaned the streets/road by picking rubbish sweet covers, papers, plastics etc and placed dustbins and placards around the streets and shops.  Meanwhile, the committee stated that it would continue to organize such program to beautify the scenic beauty of the village and would take the initiative of touring the schools to inculcate in the students the importance of living in a healthy environment.
