On recommendation of the committee constituted to review the scrap rate of condemned government vehicles, machineries and unserviceable materials, the governor of Nagaland has enhanced the scrap rate at par with market rate on the following listed condemned government vehicles, machineries and unserviceable materials with immediate effect. Scrap materials at Rs. 25/kg; battery-12V 25P at Rs. 1200/No; battery-12V 21P at Rs. 1000/No; battery-12V 19P at Rs. 800/No’ battery-12V 6P at Rs. 600/No; tyre 1000×20, 900×20 , 8.25×16 and 7.50×16 all at Rs. 100/No; tube 9assorted size) at Rs. 7/No and flaps (assorted size) at Rs. 4/No. It has been informed that tyres should be atleast two or three times before scrapping.
