Under the aegis of the Nehru Yuva Kendra (NYK), Phek, district level youth convention for the year 2013 was held on December 11 at the State Institute of Rural Development (SIRD) training hall, Phek, on the theme, “Empowerment of youth for voluntary service in community development”.
Joie De Vivre (JDV) Club, Phek, was adjudged as the “Best Youth Club” for the year 2013, and was also awarded a cash of Rs. 10,000 along with citations while “22 NYK” affiliated youth clubs were given sports materials as part of the annual event.
