Aggrieved medical employees’ union, Wokha (AMEUW) has temporarily suspended its agitation after a coordination meeting held Monday comprising of district administration, all frontals organization and CANSSEA, Wokha unit.
According to AWEUW general secretary, Lumdemo Lotha the decision arrived after the committee assured to take up the matter with the government. AMEUW began its agitation January 7 against non-payment of salaries to the employees.
Earlier, during the agitation the union also locked down the Chief medical officer (CMO)’s office, Wokha.
