NSF: Naga Students Federation (NSF) has mourned the demise of late Deo Dukhru the former secretary, social and cultural, NSF during the tenure 1980-81. In a condolence note by NSF said that Lt Deo Dukhru made an immense contribution towards the students community as a leader and also served as DEO, Pfutsero and headmaster adding that Nerhema has untold deeds to be remembered by the students community. NSF acknowledged and honoured his selfless sacrifices rendered towards the student community saying that all the good deeds that he has left behind to the younger generation will be followed with all good faith and confidence. The federation also expressed deep condolence to the bereaved family members and prayed for his soul to rest in peace.
RPOK: Razeba Public Organization’s Kohima (RPOK) has mourned the sudden demise of Deo Dukru, headmaster government high school, Nerhema on May 2. In a condolence note by RPOK stated that Deo Dukru was an intelligent man, trustworthy, a prominent dynamic leader and a capable officer who could depend upon. It further stated that Dukru had tirelessly devoted his best for the upliftment of Razeba community. RPOK further prayed to god to grant solace and comfort to his bereaved families during the greatest moments of sorrow and trial of life.
RSU: Razeba Students Union (RSU) has expressed shock and grief over the sudden and untimely demise of its departed leader and a dedicated government servant Lt. Deo Dukru, headmaster government high school, Nerhema, who expired on May 2.
RSU said that late Deo was one of the key pioneers and the guardian of RSU who served the students community in various capacities before getting into the government service. The union further expressed pain over the loss of “our” great leader who was not only the asset of the range but also to the Chakhesang as a whole.
RSU prayed for the departed soul to rest in peace and conveyed deepest condolence to the bereaved family members and relatives.
SBC: Sumi Baptist Convention (SBC) in a condolence message said that it was saddened to learn the sudden demise of late Tohovi, associate pastor of Thilixu baptist church on May 5. According to SBC late Tohovi served at Lumami Baptist Church under SBAK Nito Mount Zunheboto and later at Thilixu Baptist Church under WSBAK. SBC further conveyed condolences to the bereaved family members and prayed for the departed soul to rest in peace in the hand of his creator.
ZSU: Zeliangrong Students’ Union (ZSU) Kohima has mourned the sudden demise of its finance secretary late Anambe Diswang Jonathan on May 2, an active member of ZSU in particular and Zeliangrong community as a whole. In a condolence message, ZSU stated that late Anambe was a courteous, a leader, a friend and a brother who left a gap so wide which union would could never fill. ZSU has conveyed condolence to the bereaved family and prayed for the departed soul to rest in peace.
ZSU: Zhavame Students’ Union (ZSU) has deeply mourned the sudden demise of late Deo Dukru on May 2. The union said that late Deo dedicated his life in teaching and served as headmaster in different government schools throughout his career and was the headmaster of Nerhema village government school at the time of his demise. ZSU said that Deo also served the student community in various capacities playing a vital role throughout the time in many junctures in course of village history. The union stated that village has lost a tall and upright leader who paid additional attachment to the village youngsters and that his demise has created untold vacuum in the village community. ZSU further conveyed condolence to the bereaved family and prayed for the departed soul to rest in peace.
CHK: Chakhesang Hoho Kohima (CHK) has mourned the demise of headmaster GHS Nehre Model late Deo Dukru of Zhavame village of Phek district. In a condolence message CHK stated that late Deo was a qualified and experienced officer in his professional field and had concerned for nurturing the students career in future.
The Hoho said that late Deo was a person who loved Chakhesang community in particular and sincerely contributed his valuable service towards the activities of Chakhesang community for the uplifment of today’s living changes and sowed unity in the society. Further, CHK has conveyed condolence to the bereaved family and prayed for the departed soul to rest in peace.
NNP+: Network of Naga People Living with HIV/AIDS (NNP+) Nagaland has mourned the demise of late David Khing who passed away on May 6. In a condolence message, NNP+ stated his association with NNP+ and the services he rendered to the organization would be remembered. He has served with the NNP+ in the capacity as CRP ASLP Project –SAATHII and also as Program Manager Vihaan Programme in 2013, stated NNP+. NNP+ further conveyed condolence to the family members.
NPF: Naga People’s Front (NPF) central bureau has mourned the demise of late Suponglemba Chang, son of Kejong Chang, parliamentary secretary, who passed away May 4 at Tuensang after prolonged illness.
In a condolence message, the NPF central conveyed deepest condolences to the bereaved family members, and prayed God give them solace and strength to bear the grievous loss.Further, NPF central Hq has also expressed pain at the passing away of the mother of NPF candidate for 53 Tuensang Sadar -1 A/C, L Elam Chang. “All ranks of the NPF central office convey our deepest condolences to Elam Chang and the bereaved family members, and pray that God give them strength and solace to bear the loss,” stated the message.
FIRMS: Frontal Integrated Ranges of Meranger and Sensolikum (FIRMS) has expressed grief at the untimely demise of Supongtemjen Pongen, who was killed April 30 at the border of Assam and Nagaland allegedly by Assam police.
In a condolence message, FIRMS stated that a man of quality was lost and further prayed that Almighty God grant sufficient grace to the bereaved family to overcome the pain and sorrow at the loss of their beloved one. It also shared their deepest condolence to the bereaved family.
Management of Hotel Saramati: The management of Hotel Saramati, Dimapur has conveyed condolences to the family members of Supongtemjen Pongen, who was allegedly killed by Assam armed Police April 30. In a condolence message, deputy manager Imtiliba Imchen while conveying condolences to the bereaved family members prayed for the departed soul to rest in peace.
The management also strongly condemned the inhuman torture and brutal killing of one of its employees Supongtemjen Pongen allegedly by Assam armed Police. Deputy manager Imtiliba Imchen has appealed to the concerned authorities to initiate stern action against the perpetrators.
