Yimchunger Women Organization of Kiphire and Tuensang districts had jointly organized the Training of Trainers (ToT) on Inter-Personal Communication (IPC) — an initiative of Nagaland State AIDS Control Society (NSACS) — from October 9 to 11 at Pungro Town.
Altogether 25 village women leaders participated at the training, 10 women leaders from Tuensang district and 15 women leaders from Kiphire district.
They would in turn train and capacitate their own community at village level. The objective of the training was to capacitate the women leaders on the basics of HIV & AIDS/STI/condom education/available facilities of NRHM and NSACS/stigma and discrimination.
The training was facilitated by CHC Pungro medical officer Dr. Holiba, district programme officers of Tuensang and Kiphire districts Rovikhoto and Tsiatsuvi.
