A District Micro Planning Review Meeting for the Measles-Rubella Vaccination Campaign (M-RVC) was held under the theme “Measles and Rubella move fast, we can and must, move faster’’ was held on September 6 at the IDSP Conference hall , IMDH Mokokchung.
A press release from DPMU Mokokchung stated that the program started with a vote of thanks by Dr. Medemmayang CMO Mokokchung where he challenged all the participants to cooperate with each other and the department for the success of the M-RVC. The deputy CMO also urged all the concerned officers and workers to be sincere in the implementation of the campaign. Dr. Temsuyanger, DPO (RCH&UIP) laid emphasis on micro planning. The topics discussed during the meetings were school micro planning, outreach micro plan, communication plan, supervisors plan etc. Dr. Abhishek RRT (WHO) gave a slide-show presentation on AEFI reporting, and management and categorization of AEFI cases during the M-RVC.
The program was followed by a presentation on Micro Planning by all the blocks on M-RVC. It was attended by SMO’s, MO’s, NHM staff and other health workers.
