JNV Tuensang Hindi Pakhwada closing ceremony

JNV Tuensang, celebrated its closing ceremony of the fortnight-long Hindi Pakhwada program at its campus with major Mahesh, commandant, 5th Assam Rifles, Chare, Tuensang as the chief guest on September 14.
A press release from JNV Tuensang stated that major Mahesh emphasized on the importance of Hindi as a major language of the world and the efforts made by the government of India for advancement of the language to all corners of India. Mahesh further stated that Hindi was one of the identities of India and urged the students to love and learn the language.
The Major also gave away prizes to the winners of the various competitions which included story writing, painting, poster designing, solo song, extempore, quiz, skit, slogan writing, chutkule and poem composition competitions.
Delivering the vote of thanks, Harish Kalita, principal I/C, while thanking the chief guest for gracing the occasion, as well as the students for their enthusiastic participation in the various competitions, stated that learning Hindi was one of the basic step to maintaining the country’s integrity and unity.
Other highlights of the program included a welcome song by class IX girls, and presentation of popular Hindi songs by Longo (Class IX), Chunglly (Class IX), Litsase (Class X) and Khumlise (Class X).
