Students divided into various groups participated and performed cultural items in the Cultural fest 2018 organized by Zisaji Presidency College (ZPC), Kiphire.
The occasion was graced by deputy commissioner Kiphire, Mohammed Ali Shihab as special guest. After observing the cultural items, he encouraged the students to pursue their career with dedication and sincerity.
He also reminded the students on the three Es- Education, Electricity and Employment, and urged them to be an asset to the society instead of liability.
Sr. Assistant Professor S.J.Levi Keor, who delivered the welcome address, said that Nagas were honest and truthful however owing to the adaption of the foreign culture, the tradition and cultural values are slowly diminishing in the Naga society. He therefore appealed to the gathering to preserve their culture and tradition.
