As part of the Youth Voters’ Festival, 2019, Kohima, a district level art and painting competition on the theme “Accessible and easy election” was held on September 20 in the conference hall of the DC Kohima. An essay competition for students of Nagaland University on the theme “Voting is not just right, it is our responsibility” was also held on September 21, at Nagaland University, Kohima Campus, Meriema. A press release from assistant election officer (AEO), Kohima, Nagaland, R. Toshimeren Aier stated that winners of both categories will receive awards along with citations on January 25, 2019, on National Voters Day.
