New Ministers Hill Panchayat (NMHP) conducted a mass social work and organised an awareness program called “Ban on use of Plastic” with residents on November 24.
A press release from secretary NMHP, Lima Imsong stated that executives of NMHP also decided to put up “No Parking” signs wherever necessary to maintain free flow of traffic. It added that violators would be fined Rs. 500 and their tyres punctured, and if needed stern actions will be taken by the Panchayat. NMHP also extended its gratitude to all residents of the colony for their active enthusiasm and participation during the entire event.
