Act of Kindness to present Magnum Opus IV

 With a view to bring together all artiste and art lovers under one umbrella where each one of them can interact, grow and learn each other, Act of Kindness prepares to present Magnum Opus IV art and music festival on October 24 and 25, at Urban Haat, Walford, Dimapur which was announced in a press conference Monday, at IMC hall Dimapur.

Highlighting about the festival, organizing committed informed that unlike previous years, this year the festival will include workshops on folk story writing, fiction story writing and short stories with acclaimed writers from Nagaland & from North East region as resource persons. 

The two-day event will also include poetry competition Category A for upto class 12 and category B for college onwards, preference will be given to fresh participants. 

The participant has to submit their original, legible written or typed on an A4 sized paper (framing is optional) with a maximum of two poems on or before October 5, through their in-charge teacher at actofkindness.dimapur@gmail.com.

Organizers also informed that there will be open category for cosplayers who will have to be responsible for their own make up and related paraphernalia, for fine artiste, sculptors & photographers display prior information will have to be given about their submission.

For art competition which also falls under open category, the participants should bring their own materials and paint as necessary where theme will be given on the spot, for art competitions all participants need to bring their paints (as required) they will be working on it together, theme will be decided on the first day, art demonstration will be held on the second day. Canvas will be provided.

An open category for musicians, interested participants can enrol for participation on actofkindness.dimapur@gmail.com details will be followed via email. For singers the composition should be original accompanying instrument will be acoustic guitar (which can also be played by another member) 

There will be a nominal entry fee of Rs. 50 for each visitor for which they would be provided a wrist band at the gate and once entered in the venue and attend the workshop. As for the participants, there will be different registration fees for each category.
