The Event Management Society Tuensang would be organizing a rock beat
contest in collaboration with sound connection Tuensang, on October 26, at parade ground Tuensang, at 5 p.m. onwards, with Hi Tech computer centre as event partner and Nagaland Post as media partner.
According to the organizer, the main aims and objective of the event management is to promote younger generation bands by giving them the platform and opportunity with encouragement to utilize their music talents.
The organizer pointed out that, this platform is being providing toward the talented bands from across the district, in order to keep- aloof from drug and alcohol, where it can unite and bring ‘peace and harmony’ amongst various section of the peoples and society in general through music. The winner will walk away with a cash prize of Rs. 20,000 while second position will received a cash prize of Rs. 10,000 and individuals prizes will receive Rs. 1500.
