The first edition of Christmas Night Carnival organised by district administration Shamator and frontal NGOs of Shamator was inaugurated by Brig. S. K. Shoeran SM, 7 Sector Assam Rifle, Tuensang and Col. Mohit Singh SM, Commandant 45 Assam Rifles Shamator as chief guest and guest of honour on December 12. The carnival will conclude on December 14.
Earlier the programme was hosted by Achimla Momo, invocation by Rev. Thsankiu pastor Shamator Town Baptist Church, keynote address by Lankonsen Tsanglao ADC Shamator, special no. by Ayimla Thudan, dance competition, inaugural of Night Carnival stalls followed by Musical Night by Jazz Band 45 AR Shamator.
The programme was organised under Lankonsen Tsanglao ADC Shamator in collaboration with frontal NGOs of Shamator, marking it as an eye opener for the young entrepreneurs and also peaceful celebration of welcoming the Prince of Peace
