A meeting on the activities of the ministry of Micro Small & Medium Enterprises (MSME), Government of India, for the development of Kiphire district was held under the chairmanship of DC, Kiphire, Mohammad Ali Shihab.
The meeting was held in the DC’s chambers in Kiphire on June 15. Kiphire has been declared an “Aspirational District” by National Institution for Transforming India (NITI) Aayog, a policy think tank of the Government of India.
According to the Kiphire DC, the purpose of the meeting was to discuss and increase awareness of the schemes and programs of the ministry of MSME & its various offices.
The meeting discussed setting up an entrepreneurship development cell at District Industries Centre (DIC), registration of MSMEs under Udyog Aadhar Memorandum, National SC/St hub, Livelihood Business Incubator and other schemes for the industrial environment development of the district. The DC requested coordination among all the departments for active implementation of schemes.
