Mokokchung district administration has issued a traffic advisory following multiple mudslides along Mokokchung -Mariani Road (NH-7020) and Mokokchung -Amguri Road (NH-2). In a press note, ADC Mokokchung said the said highway may not be open/safe/motorable for vehicular movement especially during night time. In this regard, the district administration has informed the public/commuters to take the alternative route via Mopungchuket-Khar-Changki road in case of emergency during night hours.
