Peace Club of Don Bosco Hr. Sec School, Kohima (DBHSS) were capacitated on non-violence with peace prayer, ice-breaking, meditation, motivational speech, and sharing and peace anthem.
A press release from DBHSS, stated that vice principal, DBHSS, Fr. Innocent, in his motivational talk enlightened about the most popular classes and research on how to live happy and fulfilling life. He highlighted on positive psychology research where gratitude is strongly and consistently associated with greater happiness and would help members feel positive emotions and build strong relationships.
Animator of Peace Channel, Alino S Chishi, said that members as peace builders in their schools, family and communities must follow principles of non-violence. She elucidated that non-violence consisted of sets of values that sets path for non-violent life. Teacher animator, Florence, facilitated the programme, while Elizabeth and member of peace club, Senti, offered peace prayer and moderated the programme.
