DC Kohima informs grocery shops and bakeries: Deputy commissioner (DC) Kohima, Gregory Thejawelie has informed that in partial modification of the previous order of the office of the DC Kohima, all grocery shops and bakeries within Kohima municipal area are directed to open to general public from 7 a.m to 12 noon only. General public are also directed to visit only the nearest grocery shops and bakeries within their respective wards/colonies so as to insure public safety.
ADC Shamator directs: Basing on the government’s order all villages under Shamator sub-division have been directed to implement lockdown measures. ADC Shamator, T. Lankonsen Tsanglao directed all the GBs, under Shamator town and villages to be more responsible in this regard.
Advisory on telecom infrastructure maintenance: Department of Information Technology and Communication on April 4 has issued an advisory to all telecom service providers (TSPs) to co-ordinate with the district administration/police and local authorities at the district and village levels before visiting telecom sites for maintenance and monitoring activities so as to avoid any unpleasant/untoward incident.
