     DoTE informs: Directorate of Technical Education (DoTE) has informed all the candidates who have applied for NERIST Entrance Examination (NEE-2020), that the institute has decided to defer the dates for NEE-2020. The revised notification for admission through NEE-2020 shall be notified in 2nd week of September 2020. Candidates are advised to check the institute website:www.nerist.ac.in / www.neeonline.ac.in regularly for updates.

    NBSE notifies on CSSS: Nagaland Board of School Education (NBSE) has notified for information of all concerned that the beneficiary students may open an account as an option in the Post Office or use existing Post Office account for the purpose of Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) under Central Sector Scheme of Scholarships (CSSS). Post offices are providing banking and insurance services, the banking services may be useful for the beneficiaries of such scheme as the Post Offices have some popular small saving schemes like Post Office Savings Bank Account (POSB) and Public Provident Fund Scheme (PPF). NBSE has requested all heads of institutions to disseminate this information to the students.

    DoSE informs: Directorate of School Education has notified all concerned that the Ministry of Education is organizing “ShikshakParv” on the theme of National Education Policy, 2020 for principals, teachers, parents, students, schools, HEIs, TEIs, government school education functionaries, educationists, CSOs, from September 8 to 25. A two-day Conclave on NEP is also being organized on September 10 and 11. Heads of all schools (both govt. & private) are directed to encourage teachers serving in their schools to watch these webinars/discussions etc in virtual mode using the link https://www.mhrd.gov.in/shikshakparv/. Details of the programme and schedule are available at the above link. Heads of all Govt. Higher Secondary Schools and Govt. High Schools have been directed to make necessary arrangements at schools for teachers to watch the conclave. 

    NMBWC ward-19 emergency executive meeting: New Market Business Welfare Committee (NMBWC) ward-19 has convened emergency executive meeting on September 9, 2 pm at its registered office, New Market, Dimapur. All concerned executive members have been informed to attend the meeting constructively positively. 

    ‘Peace Award 2020’ nomination: Peace Channel will be conducting the 13th Peace Channel Peace Award for individuals who have made exceptional contributions in peace building in Nagaland and North East India. Peace Channel award is open to all individual irrespective of religion, sex, age and tribe.     FGN terminates: Commander in chief Naga army FGN, ‘maj. gen’ Kütsoru Lohe has declared that in exercise of Naga army rules and regulation enshrined in chapter 4 clause (c) and chapter 14 section 17 no. 2, ‘lt. col’ Empi has been terminated from service and discharged from Naga army of FGN from date of serving this ahza, September 5.
