Power disruption in Zunheboto district: Assistant engineer (Trans) Mokokchung transmission division has informed all consumers under Zunheboto district that jungle cutting along 66 KV Mokokchung–Zunheboto transmission line will commence from November 3 to 7. In this regard, supply of power will be disrupted occasionally till the work is completed. Affected consumers have been requested to bear with the inconvenience.

In this regard, DC has ordered the unsealing of the house from the date of issue of this order. ADC Peren, Moa Sangtam has notified that in view of the detection of COVID-19 positive patient, the OPD of District Hospital Peren has been sealed for 48 hours with effect from November 2. ADC has advised all public to follow all safety precautions especially within the proximity of the sealed areas. Any person violating this order will be liable to be persecuted as per the provisions of Section 51 to 60 of the Disaster Management Act, 2005, besides legal action under Section-188 of the IPC.
