Don Bosco College Kohima (DBCK) held its state level academic and administrative audit (AAA) team visit on January 28, deputed by the directorate of Higher Education, Nagaland.
A press release from DBCK stated that team comprised of Dr. Visakhonü Hibo (convener), principal, Japfii Christian College, Kigwema, Kohima, Nagaland, Dr. Watijungshi Ao, Medongoi Rhakho, deputy director, Higher Education, Kohima to prepare the college for the 1st cycle of NAAC assessment.
Fr Dr P. Suresh Innocent principal, DBCK, gave a report on the college profile, academic results of the last four years, fund and infrastructure enhancement undertaken.
Presentation was given by Jarani Mao, coordinator, IQAC who deliberated on the NAAC criteria and also on the academic enhancement undertaken by the college. Departmental reports were presented by the heads of all departments.
The team also had interactions with the students, teaching faculty and staff separately. Physical verification of accounts & establishment sections, exam branch, DBCK Students’ Forum office, classrooms etc were also undertaken.
Exit meeting chaired by the IQAC coordinator was held with the principal, IQAC members, HoDs, and staff members, wherein the team members shared some key remarks and made suggestions for improvement.
