Gorkha Youth Club Dimapur (GYCD) celebrated the 105th birth anniversary of late Hari Prasad Gorkha Rai on March 15 for his contribution towards literary works in Nepali. A press release from GYCD stated that, the late author was born and brought up in Nagaland and is referred to as “a jewel of the Gorkhas of Nagaland”. Programme was chaired by Shiva Kumar BK, president GYCD, where he appealed all Gorkha NGOs of Northeast to celebrate his birthday and also distributed biopic book of the late author.
