Community assistance during lockdown

Many Civil Society Organisations (CSOs), political parties and individuals have come forward and offered assistance to those in need during the nationwide lockdown due to COVID-19 pandemic.

CHS: Chümoukedima Hindu Society distributed essential items as a relief package to 21 needy families at Master Colony, Naharbari, Dimapur.
DVC: Diphupar village council on April 20 provided lunch to the policemen on duty from Chumukedima stretch to Deputy Commissioner (DC) Dimapur office junction. (DIPR)
BCTE: Don Bosco College of Teacher Education (BCTE), Dimapur in collaboration with AIDA (Arunachal, Nagaland, Manipur & Assam Integrated Development Association) donated masks and ration to migrant workers employed in building construction in the Salesian College campus, Dimapur. 
FAYO: Foothill Ao Youth Organization (FAYO) Dimapur distributed relief to around 400 families under its jurisdiction – Naga United – Niuland, Kuhuboto-Seithekema.
NAU: Naharbari Ao Union, Dimapur on Monday distributed relief packages to 40 families affected by the COVID 19-related lockdown.
BJYM: BJYM Nagaland distributed essential commodities to the Phom community of Signal Bosti Dimapur on Monday.
YAS: Youth Alive Society on Monday distributed juice to frontline workers including police personnel, health workers and volunteers in and around Dimapur.
