KPC grateful for assistance

Kohima Press Club (KPC) has advised all its members to take necessary precautionary protocols while on duty and continue to disseminate vital information to the public during this pandemic. 

KPC in a press release by general secretary, Atono Tsükrü stated that, journalists around the world were playing a crucial role in keeping the public informed about the novel coronavirus pandemic and government’s efforts to combat it. Acknowledging the role of media at such a crucial time and as positive cases are spiking in the state, KPC stated that some groups and individuals had come forward to extend cash and PPE materials to the media fraternity in Kohima. KPC therefore appreciated the gesture from chief minister’s office, deputy chief minister, Y. Patton, minister of Higher & Technical Education & Tribal Affairs, Temjen Imna Along, Classic Club Kohima, Rotary Club Kohima, Kohima Science College Jotsoma, Health & Family Welfare department and Medemerfund for their contributions.
