Zeliang People’s Organisation Nagaland (ZPO-N) has come out in support of the proposed delimitation exercise in Nagaland.
In a statement, ZPO-N media cell said the exercise was long overdue, to straighten the discrepancy of democratic representation. ZPO-N said that the delimitation commission was competent enough and well equipped to derive any referable information/data, as the disproportionate distribution of assembly constituencies in the state was known to all. ZPO-N said the “misconception of the masses” that the delimitation process will be a roadblock to the long desired final solution of the Indo-Naga political issue, would come to rest as people would get to know the distinction between the two.
The ZPO therefore was hopeful that the delimitation commission deliver justice to the citizens of Nagaland.
