Donations toward needy people continue during lockdown

Various organisation, banks and churches continue to donate towards needy people during the ongoing lockdown period due to COVID-19 pandemic. 

BoB extends essential goods to Zhadima villagers: Bank of Baroda (BoB) Kohima branch chief manager Suresh Kaushik together with high school branch, joint manager Seyie Vitsu and staff distributed essentials goods to the villagers of Zhadima on Tuesday. A brief programme was chaired by Zhadima village VDB secretary Roko Angami while invocation was pronounced by Rev Khriezolie. Vote of thanks was proposed by Head GB Kedilezo M Keditsu. Meanwhile, villagers thanked the bank officials for their help towards the needy villagers during the difficult situation.

STMS distribute food packs: St. Thomas Mission Society (STMS) members under the leadership of Rev. Fr. Dr. P. S. Varghese, Rev. Fr. Gemcy Eappen distributed food item packs at different locations in Dimapur on May 11. A press release from STMS secretary stated that, teachers of MGM College & MGMHSS contributed one day salary towards the cause. Out of students from nursery to class 12 and undergraduates, teachers identified only 5 students in need of help due to COVID-19 lockdown. STMS has so far distributed 250 food kits to the needy people. 

PBC Zunheboto: Police Baptist Church (PBC) Zunheboto under the leadership of Rev Ahoshe Yeptho pastor and deacon board distributed food packages to all the Police personal on COVID-19 duty. Altogether around 500 food packs were distributed in and around Zunheboto town. Team also visited both the entry gates of the town, the Zunheboto Police station, SP office Zunheboto and the Indian Reserve Police camp.

SBAK-Nito mount: Phisami Baptist Church (SBAK-Nito mount) under the leadership of Rev. Heito and deacon board distributed free vegetables to the village people who are currently settled and living in Zunheboto town. Altogether more 30 household were benefited.
